Hello everyone and Happy Easter!

March highlights included the Sligo Engineering Fair held at ATU Campus on Sunday, March 3rd. One of our very creative student engineers was onsite to display and demonstrate his ballista and catapult, which he designed and built at school with the help of staff member Troy.

Planning Permission for the development of our school site and buildings has been granted. We celebrated this news with a fundraising launch party at school. The children planted an oak tree at the centre of our school site to mark this new phase. Local community member and Sligo Co. Councillor Tom Fox generously took time out of his busy schedule to attend. We are very grateful for his support.

A group of our older teenagers enjoyed a visit to MSLETB Open Day to learn about their apprenticeship program and other Further Education courses available through MSLETB.  Cooking club has also been very busy this month, making artisan pasta and supergreen wild garlic pesto, cinnamon rolls, and vegetarian sushi rolls. The study has been redecorated by a small group of students who repainted the room with a gorgeous nature motif. READ MORE
