The Madlab workshop was really fun. First we had to put all the wires into the right places and then we had to solder them and trim off the ends. The soldering bit was the best part. On Sunday we participated in the Science Fair at IT Sligo, demonstrating some of the experiments we’ve been doing lately in science group. We did the Cartesian diver, which is an experiment to do with water preassure; lemon and potato circuits, which is an experiment to do with electrical currents; and a red cabbage dye experiment, which worked really well for tie dying t-shirts.

Come down to Quayside Shopping Centre this Saturday, Oct 26th, to support the Sligo Sudbury School Cyclothon, our first fundraising event of this year. Our challenge is to reach 200km over the course of the day.
Staff, parents, and students will pedal hard all day on Turbo Trainers to raise much needed funds for our school. All donations will go towards the general running costs of our school.
